How do I install GuestPost ?
In order for you to install GuestPost, you need to read the file called readme.txt that comes with the package.
What permissions do the files have?
All permissions for each file are listed in parantheses next to the filenames, in the readme.txt file.
Do I need to modify any HTML files ?
Yes. You will need to modify the files called admin.html and index.html. You will need to find the <FORM> tag and edit the URL link to point to the respective script.
How do I use GuestPost ?
To use GuestPost, all you have to do is install it, and configure it. Once that is done, you're ready to go to the page called index.html to make your first sign-in.
How do I add tags to Template Editor ?
In order for you to be able to have your own tags such as <<NAME>> for example, you will need to have an input field on the index.html page that has the name of NAME. This means, you will need to assign a unique name to an input field and just add << and >> around the name to make your own tag.
Can I customize my GuestPost ?
Would you want to customize the look of the entries, you should use the Template Editor that comes with the package (access it through admin.html). Would you need to modify the look of guestbook.html, you can modify everything 100% but the line that contains <!-- begin -->. You are also welcome to modify the index.html and add as many input fields as you want.
How do I get more help from you guys ?
You can register the script. If you would need a customization, we could do it at our hourly rate.
Must I give you credit for your script ?
Yes. If you purchase the script you do not have to give credit.
